TRAINING - RUNNING

If you want miles of quiet country lanes to run we have them here by the bucket load... but why would you want just that when you can take advantage of the national system of 'balades' and 'randonees', a connected web of signposted trails that take in some of the best viewpoints and scenery.

Closer to home, we are on the edge of a small forest area with a network of paths which can easily accommodate runs of up to 10k without repetition. Plus, we have a 1km trail climb which finishes along the border of our field.

On the field, we have a 200m running oval for sprint training and intervals and is great for the young ones.

Of course, we have some pre-established routes that you can refer to but we can also help you to plan your routes and/or accompany you if you'd prefer

 

For anyone needing to get in a long run during the week why not get us to drop you out to a start point and make your way back? If you want company, especially for those last few difficult miles we'll be happy to join you or rendez-vous with you on route with supplies.

There are also small friendly trail running events here on most weekends during the summer, usually with multiple distances, including childrens races.
